Why we do what we do!
We believe people are losing their connection to the outdoors and this is having a detrimental effect on our collective well-being. Our company connects people to the landscape and the environment, through their cultural heritage. We believe that if people feel connected to the world around them they are more likely to be respectful and protect it for the future.
As a human species, we have lived an outdoor lifestyle as hunter-gatherers for 98% of our entire existence on earth. Put another way. The last 9,000-6,500 years are equal to 2% of our time here as a species. We haven’t adapted yet to this modern world of agriculture, stationary lifestyles and screen time. These changes are proving harmful to the health and well-being of both people and the environment.
We aim to remedy this.
