‘Discover our land’ is a campaign to raise awareness about Northumberland as a great place to live, work, visit and to do business.
The campaign started just weeks after Northumberland made ‘The Times’ list of Best Holiday Destinations 2019’. Hopefully this will shine a light on the county.
Northumberland has won a flurry of awards in recent years, therefore tourism is set to become our leading employment sector. Tourism is already a major part of the county’s economy because of the rising numbers of UK and overseas visitors.
By building a community of people who champion everything that is great about the county, ‘Discover our Land’ aims to encourage start-up businesses, business growth and international trade.
To inspire more entrepreneurs, and therefore create more jobs and economic growth ‘Discover Our Land’ showcases some of the county’s leading businesses…
