It was amazing walking through a carpet of Bluebells at Wark today. They were nestled among a hazel grove that looked to once been coppiced. Bluebells can be used to make glue, though it is poisonous… Hazel if cut close to the ground and coppiced it will re-grow in very straight poles. It is ideal for making things with.
